The coast around La Fosca is wonderfully suited to sea kayaking: coves you can’t reach on foot, little caves, drop-offs for snorkelling. An hour’s paddling is enough to find a whole new setting.
The rental outfits on the neighbouring beaches offer single or double kayaks and guided trips at sunrise or sunset. Mask and snorkel in the kayak: you stop wherever the water calls.
Good to know: set off in calm seas with a light tramontana; stay close to the shore, the wind picks up in the afternoon.
