The Platja Gran is the big town beach of Palamós: nearly 600 m of golden sand lined by a lively promenade, looking out over the ever-busy fishing port.
This is the «everything laid on» beach: sunloungers, chiringuitos, restaurants just steps away, and the buzz of a real seaside town. As the trawlers come back in, you can watch the famous red gamba being unloaded, then head to a terrace to taste it.
Good to know: 6 min by car (2.5 km). Full facilities, easy swimming with lifeguards in summer — ideal for families who want everything within reach.
