The car-free trick: drive roughly 20 minutes to Caldes de Malavella station, park up, and let the train (Rodalies R11 line) carry you in around 1h15 to Passeig de Gràcia / Plaça Catalunya, right in the heart of the city — no traffic jams, no parking nightmare. From there, everything is walkable or a short metro ride away.
Good to know: book Sagrada Família and Park Güell tickets well in advance, and check the R11 timetable for your return journey.
