Pals
Perched on a hill, Pals unfolds a remarkably restored Gothic quarter around the Torre de les Hores, with fine views over the plain and the sea. Cobbled lanes, stone arches, a timeless atmosphere.
Peratallada
Peratallada — literally “carved stone” — is one of the best-preserved medieval ensembles in Catalonia: moats hewn from the rock, ramparts, little squares. A true film set.
Monells and the others
Monells charms with its arcaded square, ideal for a break in the shade. All around, Cruïlles, Madremanya or Púbol (and its Gala Dalí castle) round off the outing.
